The table compares the number of waste production in millions of tonnes in Ireland, Japan, Korea,Poland,Portugal, the US in 1980, 1990 2000.
Overall, while the production in the US was the highest over a twenty-year period among six countries, Ireland was the smallest.
In 1980, it produced 131 millions of tonnes in the US, increasing by 151 millions ten years later, before improving dramatically to 192 millions in the last year, having reached its peak. Japan had the second highest amount of production started at 28 millions in 1980, a figure that then increased by 4 millions and then rose to 53 millions of tones in 2000. The last highest result was in Korea, where in 1980 it was not any production at all, but in 1990 it started immediately at 31 millions. In the final year, it decreased noticeably to 19 millions.
Meanwhile, starting at 4 millions in 1980, the amount of wasteful production in Poland increased by just 2.6 millions of tones among twenty years. Despite the fact, that two different countries, Ireland and Portugal started at 0.6 and 2 millions of tones in 1980. Finally, they both ended up as the same amount of waste product only 5 millions of tones.
