The table gives data on the average band scores for students from various language courses that attend in IELTS General Test in 2010.
Overall, the students from German language group performed well compared to their counterparts from other groups, whereas Speaking part was the part where children demonstrated the best result in Ielts exam, in 2010.
In detail, German language children showed outstanding performance in Speaking part with 6.9 band, while Listening was the second high-result part, which was followed by Writing section where students got an average of 6.6 in contrast, in Reading this group got a small score about 6.3 band which makes overall band at 6.7 stood. Students from Malay group, got a grade of 6.1 in writing and reading sections, whereas the highest mark was in speaking. This figure was equal to 6.3 for listening part in the exam for Malay students.
French and Indonesian groups showed more similar patterns, in Listening and Reading score was equal to 6.3 and 6.1 for both countries respectively, whilst French students were much better than Indonesian students in writing; however speaking results in French and Indonesian classes were 6.7 and 6.6, accrodingly.
