The table illustrates the average income by month (in US dollars) of workers in five different fields (manufacturing, education, healthcare, information tech and hospitality) in 2000 and 2020, with a prediction for 2040.
Overall, except hospitality and education salaries were increased steadily, all of other industries wages were increased rapidly in the given period, and even in the 2040.
In 2000, information tech workers were have a highest paid at 2,800$. Some jobs related to healthcare and manufacturing were have salary around 2,100$, and came the second. Meanwhile, education and hospitality professionals were have a lowest paid, 1,200$ and 1500$ respectively.
In 2020, nothing change, information tech, healthcare and manufacturing wages were increased dramatically, all of them were increased above 1200$, and were still stayed at the three first places. However, hospitality and education salaries were increased steadily, just below 1000$. Similarly, in the projection in 2040, the rank and the growth speed will be kind of a same with 2000 and 2020.
