Overall, Japan accounted for by far the highest figures in all categories, whereas Germany occupied second. Looking at the details of math, Japan topped the chart, standing at 548, as opposed to Germany, which ranked second, at 530. Furthermore, the UK, which accounted for 522, was only marginally higher than the USA, which recorded 515.
Focusing on science, Japan enjoyed a sizeable lead over the others, making up 542, compared to Germany, which accounted for a slightly lower figure, at 538. This was followed by the UK and USA, with respective figures of 525 and 520.
As for reading, Japan and Germany were separated by only a negligible margin, recording 535 and 532. Finally, the USA, which stood at 528, maintained a narrow edge over the UK, which constituted 520.
