Sports are a tremendous source of overall well-being which helps the righteous development and steadiness of our bodies. One of the most known sport is football and had an increasing popularity and rate of joining of 57% in 1999, which has decresed by 9% in 2009, as a possible cause being that many indivuduals became more interested in other sports as well.
Tennis has an increasing percentage of people who decided to join this sport between 1999 and 2009, which shows the popularity of different kinds of sports and the diversity. On the other hand, activities such as swimming, golf and yoga have increasing percentages as well due to the era we are living in and the differences shown in each of them. In addition, voleyball and basketball have steady percentages who had slowly decresed but has not affect their reputations of old sports, known world wide and practiced at a high level.
However, even that football has a descedent line in 2009 is still a sport who attracts most people because everybody can play it, besides their financial situation and it does not require a lot to be a good football player, especially if you are talented. Additionally, voleyball and basketball are sports who can be played at minimum costs. Yoga is an alternative for people who can’t afford to spend too much money on a sport. All you have to buy is a yoga mat and to pay your internet bill, so you will be able to search on the internet for videos that are made for yoga begginers and moreover.
In comparison, golf is an expensive sport who requires money as much as skills and sometimes money play a crucial role, but can be an interesting and unique experience if you have the oportunity to practice it. Swimming is a sport who can be teached by a professional and requires a certain amount of money per session, but also you can learn how to swim from someone who already knows how or even by yourself, which I believe it’s not a safe option.
In conclusion, every sport has their own unique features and will always remain as an mandatory activity for our physical and mental health, despite the generations and evolution of human race.
