Overall, permanent employment was most common among students in all countries. In addition, students in Scotland were most active in the jobs.
When it comes to permanent employment, students in Scotland led the list, at 43.6%, more than double the percentage in Northern Ireland, at 20%. Meanwhile, students in England working as permanent employees were second on the list, at 33%, followed by those in Wales, at 30%.
Regarding temporary employment, England students were ranked first, at 23%. Students in Scotland finding temporary jobs were in second place, at 20.2%, followed by those in Wales, at 12.4%. At the bottom of the list were students in Northern Island, at 8.6%.
In terms of overseas employment, the percentage of students in Northern Island working abroad was the highest, at 5% almost double the figure for students in Scotland, England, and Wales, at 2.6%, 2.3%, and 2.9% respectively.
