The data displays the expenditure of an old bookstore in Scotland in January and December in 2018.
By December, the shop had an overall increase in expenses compared to the start of the year. Overall, the rent remained the highest contributor in both months where it showed an increase by the end of 2018.
In the beginning of the year, the payment of utilities contributed the second largest amount of expense at $455. It has a $1 difference from expenditure labelled as others. Maintenance was well below the other expenses only contributing $10 to the total amount. It still remained as the lowest expense in December 2018.
At the end of the year, all but the rent, marketing and other expenses witnessed a decrease in costs. Despite this, it still showed an increase in expenditure at the end of the year leading nearly to a 2000 dollar increase in total expenses.
