Overall, while the data of Australia experieced a considerable downward trend, the opposite was true for Argentina and Thailand, with the number of Thai cars being always the highest during the period.
Starting at around 735 thousand cars in 2003, the figure for Thailand was nearly 3 times as many as that of Argentina, with only at 235 thousand cars, compared to 452 163 cars made in Australia. In the next 2 years, there was a significant growth of about 120 000 cars in the data of Argentina, whereas that of Australia witnessed a steep fall, with a similar number to Argentina, to around 340 thousand cars. Simultaneously, the year 2005 experienced an enormous increase to reach a peak of over 1.1 millions in the figure for Thailand.
