The table provides information about the number of students from three Central Asian countries who studied abroad in 2010, 2015 and 2020.
Overall, total number of Kazakhstan’s students is dominated on the other countries in comparison, while amount of Kyrgyzstan’s students was the lowest.
More specifically, Uzbekistan in 2010 ranked second over Kyrgyzstan and under Kazakhstan, amount of students was 12,000, 5 years later it was increased by 6,000 student, and totally was 18,000, but still lower than Kazakhstan’s count. However, in 2020 Uzbekistan overtook Kazakhstan by 1,000 students, reaching 25,000. Meanwhile, Kyrgyzstan consistently recorded the lowest figure among the three countries. In 2010, the figure for Kyrgyzstan stood at 8,000 student, which was 7,000 fewer than the figure for Kazakhstan. 5 years later, the figure increased to 11,000 and by 2020 it had risen futher to 16,000, representing and increase of 5,000. This was still considerably lower tha the figure for Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
