The table shows the percentage of house items and electric appliances in New Zealand in year 2002 and 2020.
Overall, percentage of every appliance increased except the video recorder which witnessed a decline over those two years.
In 2002, washing machine contributed the most with 97%. Color tv was recorded at the second place with 95%, followed by video recorder at 75%. Computer, dish washer and cell phone accounted for 50% ,45%, and 20% respectively. At last, digital camera showed the least mount of percentage among the other electronic goods with 2%.
In 2020, color tv showed highest percentage number with 99% followed by washing machine with 98%. Cell phone and digital camera witnessed dramatic increase of 80% and 40% respectively. Computer accounted for 78% and dish washer stood at 55%. Meanwhile, Video recorder was the only electronic device which showed a downfall over the given period with at 60%.
