Overall, after a considerable change between 1993 and 2003, services and transport countinuosly occupied the largest share of male and female workers. Moreover, agriculture, building, and social services witnessed the smallest participation rates among both genders.
On the one hand, the percentages of male workers in each sector almost experienced an upward trend, regardless of building from 12% to 10%, and agriculture ( 38%-8%), which was the sharpest decrease. In addition, the proportion of female counterparts witnessed a downward trend in services and transport (53%-36%), agriculture (8%-6%), and manufactoring from 25% to 12%.
In contrast, business was a preffered sector among other fields that witnessed a moderate increase in the share of female and male workers, with 1% to 22%, and 7% to 25%, respectively. Futhermore, the percentage of female workforces in building initially occupied a negligible rate in 1993, after many periods, it rose to 6% in 2003. The ranges of increase among men were similarly diverse, with 9% jump in services and transport, 4% increase in social services, and the smallest rise reaching 1% in manufactoring
