This table represents the percentage amounts of both male and female workforce in a variety of six sectors: services and transport, agriculture, business, manufacturing, building, and social services, within the years of 1993 and 2003.
The table illustrates that the overall highest sector of both genders workforce is services and transport, whereas the lowest would be in the building sector. Based on my observations, agriculture comes in second highest, following up with manufacturing, business, and social services.
Starting off with the percentage of services and transport during 1993, the percantage of females in the workforce was 31 percent greater than the male. Fast forward to 2003, I analyzed that the number of females decreased while the percentage of males increased, yet the number of females still remained higher in both years.
Males in the workforce of agriculture have dramatically decreased from 1993 to 2003 by 30 percent, while females have decreased by 2 percent. Moving on to business, the amount of both females and males expanded to an higher amount in 2003.
