The table compares the proportion of both genders who rode bicycles based on age groups in one city in 2011.
It is clear that while the population who rode bicycles decreased with increasing ages. Furthermore, men riding bicycles were less than women during the whole period.
Regarding the age of population under 40, men and women who aged 0 to 9 had the highest percentage in riding bike, at 51.4% and 50.3%, respectively. During 10-17 ages, men almost at 24.6, while that of women was about doubled at 42.2. In addition, female, declining at 17.1% in 18 to 39 ages, were nearly 7% more than male in same ages.
Turning to people who aged over 40, women and men had the lowest proportion of riding bicycles during 40-59 ages, at 12.3% and 8.0%. while there was a decrease trend from 0 to 59 ages, that for population approximately 5% increased, from 12.3% to 18.5 for women and 8.0% to 13.2% for men in 60 aged and over in 2011.
