This report will describe a table illustrating the percentage of bicycle rides by men and women in an unnamed town in the year 2012. These proportions are given in different age groups.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that females rode bicycles more than males, and the amount of children who rode bicycle were much higher than elders in both sides.
The children who’s aged 0-9, had the biggest proportion of riding bicycle, with 52.5% and 51.2% for females and males, respectively. However, this number halved in the next age group of men ( 10-19 year-old ), reaching 25.1%. Continuously, the percentage of both genders decreased to reach approximately 18% for women, and about 11% for men who’s aged 20-39.
Moreover, in the age group 40-59, almost 14% of females, and merely 9.3% of males rode bicycle, which were their lowest amount. Interestingly, the proportion of both genders saw an increase for the people who’s aged 60 or more, women with nearly 20%, and men with 14.6% of riding percent.
