The table illustrates how many portions of two genders worked in various sectors of employment in a country in 1986, 1996, 2006.
Overall, the category where males worked the most was manufacturing, while the least chosen was banking. Meanwhile, for females the most employed category was education, whereas banking was the least.
On the one hand, in 1986, 1996, 2006 the number of men and women worked in catering were 16%, 22%, 22% and 26%, 26%, 26% respectively. In contrast, males who employed in banking sector increased significantly to 20% by 9% from 1986 to 1996, whereas females increased only by 4% reaching 16%. After a decade banking increased slightly for both women and men remaining 19% and 21%.
On the other hand, males who worked on manufacturing sector were 32% in 1986, which is declined gradually to 21 in 1996. Likewise, females had a moderate decrease from 1986 to 1990 to 18% by 6% percent. In 10 years males had a steady decrease to 17%, while females slumped to 6%. Despite this, over the period in education sector, the figure of male employes was 13%, 14%, 15%, whereas women were 33%, 34%, 38%.
