The table provides information about four various fuel types (nuclear, coal& lignite, petroleum products and hydro& wind) was used to generate electricity in five different Asian countries in 2005.
Overall, the percentage of coal & lignite consumption more in Malaysia and in Thailand, nuclear fuel was not used in 2005. Moreover, other fuel was consumed much more than among four fuel types in five Asian countries.
In terms of nuclear, Japan had the highest percentage at 49% and South Korea second for 33%, while Thailand used no nuclear fuel. The proportion of Malaysia and Singapore used nuclear just under 20%. In contrast, these countries used coal & lignite of generate electricity rank first , at 61% and 42% respectively and coal & lignite was used just under a tenth in other three countries. Petroleum products, the largest share was Thailand, which accounted for 36%, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea and Japan produced for approximately 5%.
With regard to Hydro & wind fuel, South Kore producing almost half of its electricity this way and over twice as high as Thailand which had the second highest percentage at 19%. The rate of Malaysia produced 5%, while hydro & wind was used the same level for 3% in Singapore and Japan. Other resources with three countries ( Singapore, Thailand and Japan) generating around 40% of their electricity from other fuels. However, just 13% and 11%, Malaysia and South Korea generated electricity in turn.
