Overall, the Netherlands had the highest amount of milk produced yearly while Guatemala recorded the lowest throughout the period. Australia was the second highest and Tanzania increased over the period.

In 1990, the Netherlands and Australia began the year with over 11 million barrels of milk produced, however in 2000, there was a drop in number of over 100,000. Over the next 10 years, the Netherlands milk production grew to almost 11. 5 million, while Australia continued to face a decline in its production rate, finishing that same year at just over 9 million.

Conversely, Guatemala began the 90’s with the lowest production rate annually, producing approximately 26,000 barrels of milk, it saw a rise over the 2 decades, diary production increased from 55,000 in 2000 to 84,000 in 2010. Tanzania experienced an increase throughout the period from 87,000 in 1990 to 155,000 in 2010.
