Overall, Teachers in Denmark and Luxembourg had significantly higher starting salaries compared to the other countries, and it took 9 years in Denmark to reach maximum salary. Asian countries, Japan and Korea started with minimum amount of salary, but they needed the longest years to reach maximum salary.
In Australia where starting payment was 28,000 and in Denmark it was higher by 27,000. After nearly 9 years of experience in those countries, the highest salary was 48,000 and 54,000 respectively. During the period, the highest payment was in Luxembourg, started from 80,000. And teachers needed 30 years to get the highest salary 132,000.
In contrast, the maximum years of experience that required to be paid the peak amount recorded in Japan and Korea and it was approximately 35-36 years. Teachers without experience earned 30,000 in Korea and 34 000 in Japan. After 15 years of work, Japan nearly doubled the salary and Korea paid 48,000. Finally, the peak amount of salary reached 86,000 in Japan and in Korea it was slightly lower with 62,000.
