Overall, S lovenia stands out with the highest expenditure rate, while Poland records the greatest participation level. In contrast, Romania has the lowest participation level and Poland allocates the least on cultural activities.
In terms of expenditure, Slovenia invests 25% of its budget to cultural events, which is nearly twice that of Hungary (13 %) and double the figures for Czech Respublic (9%) and Romania (10%). Poland, on the other hand, devotes the smallest proportion, at just 5%.
Regarding participation, Poland shows the highest participation ratio (44%), followed by Slovenia 40 %. Hungary records a moderate level of participation (34%) whereas the Czesh Respublic and Romania have lower rates, at 27% and 23% respectively.
