It can be seen that the chart displays the distribution of Nigeria’s population.
From an overall perspective, if the table was converted into a graph, then the line would always be rising gradually in every category, such as total population, total urban population, and others. Additionally, there seems to be some blank records for numerous classifications and from a variety of years.
From the chart, we can confirm that all categories have increasing numbers, which indicates a positive thing for the country Nigeria since it relates to population size. In addition, the nation started off with a total population figure of 18,720 in 1921, total urban population of 890, and only 10 cities with a population of 200,000 and above. After over a century, Nigeria have developed and increased in citizen numbers, with 160,000 of total population and 36 cities with a 500,000 population in 2020. Finally, there seems to be a huge difference between the year 1984 and 2020. For instance, Nigeria only had 62 towns with 100,000 population in 1984, but in 2020, they had 132 cities, which shows that the amount doubled. In fact, all categories number have doubled between that period of time.
To compare, since all of the categories come from the same topic, then if one group’s number rise, then all of the others will experience it too. Lastly, Every category expresses a dramatic increase.
