The table presents data about the number of people that flyied with the most popular companies in US between 1995 and 2005. Overall it is clear that in the considered decade the most prefered airlines were Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines. However, as it is shown all companies had an increas in the number of passengers with growth rates that goes from 33% to 249%.
It is evident that the companies who grew most are in order JetBlue Airwways, Hawaiian Airlines, American Airlines, Alaska Airlines and Delta Air Lines. It is impressive how in just ten years the JetBlue Airways registered a growth rate of 249 % so it went from 86000 passengers in 1995 to 300000 in 2005.
Interestingly, the companies who grew less were the ones tha were the most popular in already at the start of the decade, such as United Airliens and Southwest airlines. However, Delta Air Lines is an exption because in 1995 it was the most popular company and in 10 years she still had a growth rate of 113%.
