The chart gives information about the proportion of cinemas in four different regions, city center, near city center, suburb, and countryside, in one European country from 2004 to 2009. Overall, the city center had the highest among figures among other three, near city center ranked second with highest percentage change than other three areas.
In 2004, city center had 1512 movie houses and was leader, by 2009 there were added new 108 film theaters, which was around 7.14%. In the areas close to the city center were around 300 cinemas and by the end of the period new 100 movie houses, in percentages the rate was around 33%.
Suburb and countryside bucked the trend by decreasing over time. Suburb initially had the lowest between other zones, and by the 2009 decreased the number of cinemas for 25% around 10 buildings. Countryside at the beginning stood at the third place, but over the time the proportion of oil theaters declined to 90 constructions.
Totally, in the beginning overall number was 2100, and by the end it underwent slight increase and reached 2287, in percentages around 9%.
