Overall, the number of participants who changed their levels in Yoga, hiking, and running experienced upward trends over the given period, while the reverse was true for Baseball, basketball, Softball, and swimming, with substantial declines throughout the timeframe. It is also noteworthy that, athletics in Weightlifting remained unchanged over the given timeframe.
Regarding the increased sports, the percentage of athletes in hiking and running stood at as dominant sector, with 12 million and 15 million of participation respectively, a figure that then for former trends, it saw a significant growth to around 14 million, while the latter sport experienced a noticeable rise to approximately 18 million of participation in 2014. As for Yoga, the level of athletic who changed their career to Yoga accounted for 9 million of participants before increasing to 12 million in 2014.
