Overall, the amount of spending done by government on medical care in Italy was the highest. Additionally, the percentage of young people working in Poland ranked first among other countries.
In detail, government expenditure on health care excelled in percentages in Italy, reaching 27% in the given year. In contrast, medical care in Poland was given only 5% of spendings of officials which made up the lowest rate. However, expenses provided in Finland ,Iceland and Spain differed slightly from each other, reaching 9%, 11% and 13% respectively.
The data regarding percentages of young adults working in medical sphere shows that Poland dominated over other countries,reaching 54% in 2006. While the percentage of medical workers in Finland and Iceland differed from each other marginally, accounting for 25% and 29% accordingly, Finland ranked last among other countries. In addition, 34% of health workers was in Spain, whereas health authorities in Italy accounted for 40%.
