In contrast, individuals settling in Central area tend to opt for semi-detached and detached housing compared to other types.
Looking first at Central area with the population of 32,100 people, flats and terraced houses are the least preferred categories, with 15% and 18% of the population, respectively. Meanwhile, the proportion of detached houses is much more significant, with nearly two-fifths of the population living in this type of accommodation, followed closely by that of semi-detached houses, at 28%.
Regarding Green Park area, there are 31,700 residents in this area, and three-fourths of them enjoy living in flats. The remaining types show relatively low figures, ranging from 5% to 14%.
With regard to Southberg area, this area also exhibits the same population as Green Park area. However, the proportion of people staying in terraced houses ranks first, standing at 56% and doubling that in flats. A similar pattern to Green Park area was recorded in the figures for semi-detached and detached houses, reaching a negligible 14% and 5%, in that order.
