The table compares the data related to sales of labelled coffee and bananas in fairtrade price among the five different countries in period of 1999 and 2004.
Overall, in all five countries namely UK, Switzerland, Denmark, Belgium and Sweden experienced increasing value of fairtrade between 1999 and 2004. Among them, the sales of coffee and bananas were significantly climbed in UK during the same time periods.
Regarding the sales of coffee and bananas in UK, in 1999 it was 1.5 millions of euros, then it rocketed to 20 millions of euros within 5 years period. Similarly, in Switzerland, the sales of coffee and bananas were 3 millions of euros in 1999 but it got double and reached to 6 millions euros in 2004.
However, Denmark, Belgium and Sweden had witnessed only slight increment in sales of bananas and coffee between 1999 and 2004. During 1999, the sales stood at 1.8 and reached to 2 millions of euros in Denmark. While, in Belgium, the sales were increased from 1 millions of euros 1.7 millions of euros within 5 years time period. Moreover, Sweden also underwent small increment of 0.2 millions of euros between 1999 and 2004 which were at 0.8 millions of euros and 1 millions of euros respectively.
