Acorsing to the above table canada shows a significantly higher number of foreing students compare to united states from all considering countries. Specially from china a higher percentage of foreing student has come to canada compare to the United states in 2003 compare to 2002.
In canada the number of students from china rise from 5400 in 2002 to 7850 in 2003 which is a 45% increasement over the year. The number of indian student rose by 35% in canada in 2003 compared to 2002 from 2100 to 2835. But when consider about students from USA there is not a higher number of increasement comapre to india and china.
In contrast, immigration to the USA remained relatively stable, with a total increase of only 2%. While immigration from China and Canada grew slightly (by 6% and 7% respectively), the number of Indian immigrants dropped significantly by 9%, from 200,000 to 182,000.
