The tables compare the results of two surveys conducted in 1980 and 2010 on six facilities and services available in a particular city. Overall, the urban citizens gave transportation the worst rating. In contrast, the satisfaction on education services rose during the given period.
Education, healthcare, and environment generally received positive scores from the people, as supported by the large gaps between the positive feedback and the two worse categories (neither good nor bad and bad). However, the reputation for healthcare and environment markedly fell from 1980 to 2010.
When looking closer into the numbers, it is apparent that the positive feedback for the healthcare services declined significantly (from 82% to 74%) during this period, while the moderate and bad reviews increased. A similar pattern could be found on the ratings given to the environmental aspect in this city. While the positive reviews only fell slightly in this category, the bad reviews increased extremely from only 6% to 16%.
