The table provides information about the proportion in percentage of answers (good, neither good nor bad, bad) of two surveys done in 1980 and 2010 on six aspects (education, healthcare, environment, shops, employment, and transport) of city living in a particular city.
Overall, the majority of people evaluated given aspects as good ones in both surveys. Education, healthcare and environment got the highest score, while the transportation score was the lowest throughout the years. Meanwhile, education’s rating rose, and that of transportation fell.
In survey of 1980, people rated healthcare, education, and environment the highest, with over 80% approving the healthcare, while the other two had figures of 72%. As for shopping and employment, both had similar figures, as 62-64% expressed approval, and 22-24% thought they were average. Transportation was rated the worst one, with the lowest positive answers (52%), and the highest negative ones (32%) among the aspects.
In 2010, the most approved parameter was education, which jumped by 10%. Healthcare, environment, and employment were evaluated about the same as good ones, about 71-74%. The same amount of people thought that environment and shopping aspects were not the best in the city, 16% expressed disapproval. Transportation dropped by 13% in the rating, with the climb of unsatisfied results by 6%.
