The given line graph illustrates the amount of foreign students studying at a UK university from 1995 to 2015. Overall, Asian students dominated the chart. Meanwhile, the amount of European students experienced moderate fluctuation, which resulted in North American students taking the lead. African students on the other hand, witnessed a slight increase, although returning back to its initial amount of students.
To begin, Asian students had no competition throughout both decades, increasing two-fold with the amount of students, substantially rising from 60 to 120 pupils. As for European students, they experienced considerable fluctuation in both decades, remaining stable at around 50 students.
On the other hand, North American students remained quite stable in the beginning of the period with a slight dip in 2005. Nevertheless, in 2010, the amount of North American students significantly rised from 40 to 70, overtaking European students. Meanwhile, African students commenced with 20 students in 1995, experiencing hardly any changes, although in 2005, the number of pupils witnessed a slight increase, with 30 students in 2010. However, this did not last long, as it fell back to its initial amount with 20 students.
