Looking at the two maps, we can see Riverford is now a highly developed area with lots of facilities compared to 2007.
The city was separated into two parts by a river, from the northeast of the map to the west, and there’s a bridge to get across to the more busy side of the city. The development of the city is evident, particularly, the school in the northwest has expanded and, across the other side of the bridge, a new shopping centre has been opened. At the far northeast, the old hospital is now expanded to a 4 story building. In front of the hospital, there is a bicycle rental place.
There has been a great deal of development in the west. A new school has been built near a river beside a bicycle rental place. Additionally, a cafe and new shops have been constructed on the opposite side of the map. Moreover, the residential area is now filled with many skyscrapers, and an additional new bank with the old one combined. At the very southeast of the town, the old train station has been transformed into a bigger and more modern one. Overall, therefore, these two maps clearly illustrate that Riverford has changed significantly from 2007 to 2017.
