Overall, City Hospital experienced several significant changes, with the most remarkable ones being the introduction of roundabouts and the reposition of parking spaces.
In 2007, the hospital was surrounded by Ring Road and accessed via Hospital Road. On either side of Hospital Road was three bus stops, and a car park which catered to the need of the hospital’s staff members and the public was located on the right side.
Fast forward to 2010, it was apparent that the hospital became acccessible due to an array of new amenities being added. To be specific, two roundabouts were established, intersecting Hospital Road with Ring Road and City Road. The original bus stops were demolished, making way for a sizeable bus station positioned on the left side of Hospital Road. Additionally, the old car parking lot on the southeast corner was redesigned to be a staff-only area, while a new parking lot was constructed, adjoining Ring Road to serve residents.
