The two maps demonstrate differences that have taken place in an area from 1995 to the present.
Overall, it is clear that the northwest and the center of this area have undergone major transformations, with the most noticeable changes being the development of residential areas and the disappearance of the public park.
There are a number of developments in the middle of the area. Regarding the hotel, it has been converted from one floor into two-storey buildings, while trees in the public park were chopped down to make way for holiday homes and a car park in the corner. In the northeast, the old farm has been eliminated and repurposed into recreational-oriented area including golf course and tennis course.
In the northwest, more housing estates were erected accompanied by the sport complex being demolished to make room for a new restaurant complex. In the southwest, fish market was transformed into multiple apartment while café to the east of the market was moved eastward. At the bottom of the area, the pier where morning fish boat used to dock was removed and the sea was opened to yachts.
