Illustrated are the changes made to Greenwood village over a 30-year period, from 1990 to 2020.
Overall, it is clear that between 1990 and 2020, the village underwent significant transformations, with almost everything being subject to change except for a river as well as a road.
To begin with the look of the village in 1990, the river divided the plan into the northern and southern parts. In the former section of the Greenwood village, one could see a farm in the north-west corner and there was a forest on the opposite side. Meanwhile, a park with trees was placed in the centre above the river. By contrast, the latter section was occupied by a line of houses and shops in the south-west as well as south-east corners, respectively. Finally, there was a road running from west to east at the bottom of the layout.
By 2020, the houses were not only relocated, but also doubled to six, making a way for a large car park. The shops were converted into a huge shopping mall. The northern side, in turn, was completely transformed into a residential area, The park was demolished and a new school was erected instead of it, which had a brand-new hotel to the east.
