The pie charts illustrate some employment patterns of men and women in a developed country. These patterns are divided into manual jobs such as craft or similar,general labourers and other manual, and non-manual jobs consist of clerical and related, managerial and professional and other non-manual. Overall, the two charts reveal the dominance of males in manual and females in non-manual patterns
According to the charts, in clerical and related, females have six times as much proportion with 30% compared to only 5% of males. Furthermore, women still dominated the other non-manual jobs with 11% which is almost twice as much as the proportion of men in the same patterns with 6%. However, there is still an exception in managerial and professional areas, males outperformed with 38% while females only accounted for 22%
Manual jobs, on the other hand, witnessed the prevalence of men. They are superior in craft or similar areas, having almost five times as much as the percentage with 21% compared to only 4,5% of women and males also occupied four times as females in general labourers with 2% while . Surprisingly, in other manual patterns, women occupied a higher proportion with 32% while men had 28%.
