The table depicts the weekly use of ordinary milk and butter along with high and low-fat alternatives of milk and butter among multiple age groups in one European country.
Notably, there has been a consistent increase in low fat products usage regarding to the people in higher age group. While milk is being consumed more in amount as the age progress, butter witness a steady decline.
In the domain of milk consumption, there is a stable trend. It starts from 1235ml of milk with 51% high fat and 49% low fat in the 25 and under age group then witness a great increase to 1857ml in the 25 to 44 age group with 49% and 51% in high and low fat, respectively. It stays almost unchanged regarding to 45 to 64 age group with 1 to 2% differences. In the 65 and above age group, a rise in consumption can be seen, specifically, 2106ml of milk is used with 33% of high fat and 67% of low fat products.
In the butter table, it also has a steady change. Starting from 91gr of butter with 48% and 52% of high and low fat products usage, respectively in the 25 and under age group. It decline steadily through each age group and end at the 65 and above age group with 23gr of butter, 27% of that is high fat and the rest is low fat.
