The bar graph provides information about the number of fruits and vegetables eaten in one day by certain age groups in the UK in the year 2006.
Overall, the male group experienced a downward trend, while the female group showed an upward trend throughout the period. both groups’ consumption of fruit and vegetables had the same fluctuations. However, females were gradually increased in eating fruit and vegetables.
Consumption of fruit and vegetables was at its peak in the age group between; 55-64 about 35%, however, we can see a downfall in the age group of 19-24, which was about 15%. Moreover, females are most likely to eat more, in comparison with males.
People aged 75 were eating about 25% of fruit and vegetables in 2006, whereas 45 to 54 males were seen as very less likely to eat fruits and vegetables, which was about 20%. On average, 25% of all age groups are eating fruit and vegetables.
