Overall, It is clearly seen that consuming vegetables and fruits was the most common in ages between 55 and 64 for both gender while the youngest age group from 19 to 24 years old was the least consumers of these products in 2006. Regarding the genders, females was seen to consume more than males.
The more people get older, the more they consumed vegetables and fruits until they reached their sixties. When they were 19 to 24 years old, the percentage of consuming given groceries was around 15% for both genders. By contrast, proportion of daily consuming fruits and vegetables was roughly equal in the ages categories 25-43; 36-44; and 45-54, making up to approximately 23% combined.
In contrast, it is more common to eat vegetables in elderly people, with 55-64 aged people representing around 33%. Likewise, these products were consumed by 27% of men and women who were making up 20% equally after 75 years.
