The two maps demonstrate information about changes that had taken place in a shopping mall for over the period between 1985 and 2005. Overall, the shopping centre underwent significant alterations. While some places were demolished giving vacant spaces, new facilities emerged as well.
Initially, in 1985, the mall consisted of three major parts including department store with the main entrance which led to the north courtyard surrounded with different shops and a fountain in the middle, and straight through the wide corridor there was a food court with food stalls and six cinema halls. In addition, there were two extra entrances from the both west and east sides of the shopping centre.
By 2005, such placed as bookstore, gift shop, cinemas and several food stalls had been demolished to provide vacant places for other facilities. What is more, shoes store had been removed and then merged together with videos shop in order that expanded electronics shop was constructed. Regarding food stalls that were adjacent to each other to the western side, they had been modified into two cafes with a new stall having emerged in the middle of the food court. Apart from these alterations the fountain, which used to be located in the centre of the north courtyard, had got removed.
