The two maps illustrate the layout of Lynwich College in 2006 and now.
Overall, following the redevelopment, the college has been significantly altered with many facilities added for students.
In 2006, the site was not well connected and was used only for educational purposes. Coming from the road that stretches from west to east, students could leave their cars in the car park at the end of the road. After leaving their cars, they could see greenery to the west and a library to the south. Once in the library, they could observe the sports field further to the south or take a walk on a path that led to two college buildings: the first was on the first turn from the path, while the second one was at the end of the path.
After the redevelopment, the college has become more functional, and some recreational facilities for students were added. Now, students may get there by bus, as a bus stop has been built near the road. Almost half of the car park’s area was given to accommodate students’ bikes. Instead of the library, which was relocated to the southwest of the campus, there is a larger building for a sports center, as the sports field was decreased in size. Now, all facilities are connected by several paths to the cafeteria right in the center of the campus, where students can gather and have something to do outside of class.
