The pie charts compare the percentage of water usage in different reasons in one certain country between 1988 and 2008. Overall, all usage patterns changed at albeit varying rates. Despite, water used in kitchen was the lowest amount in 1988, it became the highest figure in the next two decades. Additionally, water usage for baths rose, too. However, miscellaneous reasons show the decreases.

In terms of increases first, people used water for kitchen started at 15% and reached to staggering 29% in 2008. Moreover the water figure for bathroom usage started at 22% in 1988, a figure that then rose to 28% in the final year.

On the other hand, the usage of water for garden declined significantly from 20% to just 7%. While the proportion of water usage on washing clothes dominated with 25% in 1988, after that it went down to 22% in 2008. Subsequently, focusing on toilets, the percentage of water usage became 18% in 1988, before dropping to 14% in 2008.
