The ratio of quantity of domestic water usage by a nation in the year 1988 and 2008 are compared using two pie-charts.
Overall, maximum water was spent for washing clothes in 1988. While, in the year 2008, the proportion of water utilised behind toilets was the most.
On one hand, water usage for bathroom increased from 22% to 28% from 1988 to 2008. Moreover, the ratio experienced an incline for kitchen facility wherein, 15% of water was used over kitchen in 1988 and 29% ofit was used in 2008.
On the other hand, water usage decreased for washing clothes from being 25% in 1988 to 22%in 2008. Apart from this, there was a drastic fall noticable for water used in garden. In 1988, the ratio was 20% whereas, in 2008, it occupied the least amount, 7%. Furthemore, water in toilets faced same decline, from 18% to 14% over the years.
