I hope this message finds you well. I am one of the local residents from the Park Street area and am writing to bring to your attention an issue that we are facing recently. I am Subhas Kundu and have been living here for the past fifteen years in a two-story brick house, which is exactly located near the junction of Park Street and M.G. Road.
Although this place is well-known for its quiet and peaceful nature, these days, underground metro rail tunnel contruction work is under progress; therefore, we have been suffering from a huge noise throughout the day since the starting of this development project. Moreover, the air has been polluted due to the dust particles emit during the tunnel construction.
I would appreciate it if you could arrange for more day shifts than night works because they often cause poor sleep, resulting in fatigue during working hours. Furthermore, being a responsible authority of the town, I hope you will take necessary actions to prevent air pollution for an extended period of time.
