The line graph illustrated the worldwide use of different kinds of information and communication technology included Landline, Mobile and Cell phone, Fixed broadhand, Internet, Wifi from 1998 to 2008.
Overall, from 1998 to 2008, most of worldwide use increased, except mobile and cellphone. Landline held the top spot at start, but this position replaced by mobile and cellphone in 2000 and it remained until 2007. Wifi maintained at the bottom of the list and surpassed fixed broadband at the end of the period.
Regarding the mobile and cellphone, landline and internet, most of them had the increasing trend, but mobile and cellphone grew significantly from 1998 to 2007 and reached the peak of 45%. After that it plunged and hit a low of 0% in 2008. In addition, landfill fluctuated with an upward trend, while internet slightly rose.
Conserving the remaining catagories, wifi almost no used from 1998 to 2003. In the following years, it dramatically grew and reached a peak of nearly 15%. Meanwhile, fixed broadband started at 0% and slightly rose until the end of the period.
