Band 5+: Write a description the information shown below. You should write at least 150 words

Image for topic: Write a description the information shown below. You should write at least 150 words
Our system will evaluate the answer based on this AI-generated description.
The image depicts nitrogen sources and concentration levels in coastal city groundwater with varying concentrations: low in ocean and highest adjacent to industrial areas. Key nitrogen entry points include ocean discharge, domestic/market garden fertilizer/housing liquids, industrial stacks/settling ponds, and waste disposal sites. Nitrogen absorption occurs via coastal vegetation through plant uptake, with additional contributions from nitrogen fixation/oxidation, organic matter decay, nitrification, ammonia absorption, and denitrification. Groundwater flow direction suggests movement from nitrogen sources toward lower concentration regions, influencing overall groundwater nitrogen levels.
Given the complexity of the image, the above description may not be entirely accurate.

The diagram illustrates the stages nitrogen which it sediment in the groundwater of a city on the coast.

There is many human and industry activity that makes leaks nitrogen pollute the enviroment. One of these activity is the disposal in landfills that may contains numerous nitrogen from junks. Besides that, the other factories also don’t have an appropriate filter from it excretion, so that nitrogen could contaminate the ground. Domestic market and gardens may have role for this cycle due to the fertilizer and liquid water from household possibly seep in the ground. These three areas are highly contributed to provide nitrogen in groundwater.

The groundwater that contains a nitrogen flows toward the sea and it is discharged into the ocean. At the moment, levels nitrogen have slowly decreased by saltwater interface near coast. Afterwards, some nitrogen is taken up by particles in the soil and it is released back into the atmosphere having been oxidised by lightning and turn back in the ground from rainwater. The vegetation had been receiving nitrogen from rainwater and changes it to amonia, the process called nitrogen fixation.

Overall we can see that nitrogen enters the ground in a number of ways, then take towards the sea and released back in to the atmosphere having been oxidised by lighting, and coming back in the ground by rainwater. The cycles is then repated.
