Dear Aline,

Hope you are in good health. First of all, I want to apologize for not writing back to you for so long. The thing is I am feeling very guilty to tell you that the comic book that you had sent me last week has been teared down by my niece while playing.

What happened was, I was busy in penning down notes for my upcoming presentation and the comic book was on my writing table besides me when my niece-unaware of its importance, thought of it any other rough book-teared the pages. All of it happened so suddenly that I couldn’t stopped her at the right moment.

I am aware that comic book was very dear to you as it was a present given by you late sister. I promise i will try to fix it as possible as i can and for that I have already send it to the paper binding shop next to my home. I hope they find ways to glue down all the pages.

Once again I apologize for my irresponsible behaviour.
