Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to you regard new supermaket’s construction in our city. It is planned to replace the library next year and I am concerned of this.

I read this information on Wallmart’s website yesterday. There was written that they were going to destroy the historical building of library and build brand new supermarket with parking area for 350 cars in 2027.

In my opinion, this area is crucial for our city and it is important part of the history of the country. It was built in 1850 and was visited by our famous novelists, artists and polititians. Moreover, it is printed on the banknots. The building of the library is considered as the most popular attraction in the city, and more than 20,000 tourists annualy visit our city to observe it. If we allow to build a supermarket on this place we will lose all benefits from tourism.

I believe that we do not need an additional supermarket in this place, because the closest one is situated in 2 kilometers. This is the only library in the city and it rents out books for the citizens and provides comfortable environment for work and study. Therefore, I ask you to cancel the plan of replacement.
