Dear Mr. Squires,
I am writing this letter to bring your attention to the parking problems which are needed to be addressed as they are hindering pedestrian safety.
Currently, as you know that our company has merged both morning and afternoon shifts, which results in morning people driving by around 2:00PM as they leave and afternoons coming in around before or at the same time. This often leads to people crossing in between moving cars, also there have been some instances where people have bumped into the cars.
Although till date there has not been any fatal accidents, but I feel that it is a definately pedestrian safety issue which needs to be addressed. To this problem my suggestion as I have thought of would be creating designated walkways with painted marks and relectors alongside each parking line. Additionally, creating a route for entry and exit of vehicles such that minimum interference with people entering or exiting vehicles. Moreover, there should be posted speed limits specific to parking areas and proper training to all employees.
Your’s sincerely,
Khanjan
