Subject: Application for Two Days’ Leave

Respected Madam,

I hope this letter finds you in great health and high spirits. My name is XYZ, a student at your esteemed school, and I am writing to formally request two days of leave to attend my sister’s wedding. As her only sibling, my presence is vital during this significant family event.

I regret to inform you that I will be unable to attend classes from 13th October to 14th October 2024. I understand the importance of maintaining my studies and assure you that I will diligently catch up on any missed work upon my return.

I would be extremely grateful for your understanding and support in granting this leave. Thank you very much for considering my request.
