In March, there was a Conséquent rise reaching the highest point of the year at about 350 million dirhams. Following this ,the sales started to fall quickly. In April they dropped to 250 million and by July they reached the lowest point at around 110 million.

In August, sales went up again to nearly 200 million indicating a small recovery. However, they fell again in September to just over 100 million. During the last three months of the year, gold sales improved a little and stayed constant between 150 and 200 million.
